3 Reasons to Use a Buyers Agent to Buy a Home

I just finished reading this article and felt compelled to share it with the real estate community.  It contains 2 statistics that I found interesting.

  • "In 2010, only 57% of buyers who purchased their homes had a buyer's agent."
  • "Buyers who use a buyer's agent pay an average of 5% less than buyers who don't."
Pretty interesting stuff.  If you're not using a buyer's agent, make sure the seller's agent is trustworthy, has a good reputation, and will negotiate with their seller to get you a good deal.  I've represented buyers and sellers in the same transaction, and I always look out for both parties best interests, but there's many sleazy agents out there that don't.  If you need a realtor in Boston or in the suburbs, The Terrier Group can help you, and it's free for buyers!  Click here for the full story.
